Role Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join our fundraising team as we prepare for the University’s first major institutional campaign.  Working as a member of the Participation Giving team in a fast paced office you will help to increase the numbers of young alumni, students involved in supporting university projects.

Your major focus will be helping to raise the profile of philanthropy on campus and developing a pipeline of projects for the University’s own crowdfunding platform, YuStart. This will involve the delivery of a communications programme, social media activity, networking and workshop presentations, as well as YuStart project support and platform administration.  In collaboration with the Alumni Engagement team and colleagues in YUSU you will help to expand links between students and young alumni.

You will be well organised, be able to work independently and as part of a team, often to deadlines. A creative thinker with first rate communications skills you will have excellent IT skills, and a thorough knowledge of social media platforms.
