An enthusiastic and well-organised Student Recruitment Officer (Postgraduate) is required to be involved in the development and delivery of the University of York’s recruitment programme, including online events and activities for postgraduate recruitment, attendance at higher education exhibitions, publications work and administrative support within the Student Recruitment and Admissions office. The post will be available for approximately eleven months from Monday 24th July 2017, or as soon as possible after that date.
Applicants should be educated to degree level (or have an equivalent professional qualification) and possess outstanding communication skills, including confidence in delivering talks and presentations. In addition they will need to have strong organisational and project management skills and should have the ability to lead or work as part of a team. Previous experience of working in student recruitment or admissions is essential.
The salary will be £31,076 per annum, which is on grade 6 of the University’s salary scales. Interviews will be held on Friday 23rd June 2017.
