Role Description

Applications are invited for the role of HPC Specialist/Research Software Engineer, Information Services.

You will be a technical specialist, taking a lead role in the development, implementation, support and maintenance of HPC within IT Services in general and the Physics Department in particular. Working with colleagues in the Physics Department and the central team, you will focus on scientific computing working on the central HPC cluster, departmental clusters and other compute services as well as providing general Linux and scientific computing expertise within the Faculty.

The post is available on a full-time basis, on an open contract. A flexi-time scheme operates which allows for flexible working within operational guidelines.
