We have a vacancy for a dedicated and pro-active part-time Information Assistant to join the digitisation team, to help digitise library resources, and other material as appropriate, for use by University students and staff.
The successful candidate will work 15 hours per week, during weekday hours (Monday-Friday between 9am-5pm). The Directorate is flexible as to when these hours are worked (i.e. over 3 days or more), with at least 3 afternoons per week worked. The exact pattern and days of work will be agreed with the successful candidate upon appointment.
All Information Assistant candidates should have education to GCSE standard or have equivalent experience, the confidence and ability to use and learn a range of systems, software and equipment, for example IT packages, self-issue machines, digitisation equipment and the ability to work with speed and accuracy whilst maintaining attention to detail.
