Role Description

The Department of Psychology is seeking a full time research project coordinator to work with Dr Silke Goebel for 25 months on an ESRC-funded project entitled ‘Cross-format number integration and its relationship to mathematics performance’. 

The project will involve extensive longitudinal testing in schools and EEG testing, as well as liaising with parents and teachers in order to build contacts in the community.

Candidates will have an undergraduate degree in psychology or a related discipline and experience working with children. Experience with testing in schools and/or EEG testing is desirable.  

Shortlisted candidates will be asked to give a 10-minute presentation on the subject of their undergraduate/MSc research project and how the experience they gained during their research project will help them contribute to this project.

The starting salary is £24,565. The appointment is available for 25 months starting from the 1st April 2017.
