The Department of Biology is looking to appoint a HR Administrator to cover a period of maternity leave for 9 months.  This busy role supports a large department of 335 staff and you would be joining at a time of change within the department.

Working closely with another HR Administrator and the Senior Staff Administrator, you will play an integral role in supporting the employee life cycle within the department with exposure to a range of key HR processes.  This includes but is not limited to: recruitment; induction; fixed-term enders/redundancy; right to work checks and much more.  You will also work closely with the central HR department to problem solve and ensure efficient/timely action. You will be a customer focussed, enthusiastic individual who has experience of working in a HR Administration role.  On occasion, you may be required to support other administrative areas within the department at peak times.

The hours are 22.2 hours per week and will ideally be worked over three days, however, this is flexible and can be discussed with candidates individually.  Interviews will be held during the week commencing 3rd January 2017.
