Role Description

This is a key role in the Department of Physics’ Student Recruitment Team. The role provides administrative support for the recruitment of students to undergraduate programmes in the Department, including supporting staff and prospective students during the admissions process in order to maximise the number of suitable applicants and the uptake of offers made. In a highly competitive market, the recruitment of the very best students is a priority for the Department and, thus Admissions Administration is a crucial role contributing to the continued success of the Department. 

This is an exciting opportunity for an organised and highly effective individual. There will be extensive communication with applicants as well as colleagues and students within the Department and University.

You will exhibit an enthusiastic and professional approach to your work, enjoy working as a member of a team and be willing to use your initiative. A friendly and helpful manner are essential, as is a flexible approach to work.
