Role Description

This is a highly varied role in the HR Services team supporting the HR function and providing an HR administrative service directly to University staff and departments.  The workload is spread across all departments of the University and all types of HR life-cycle function.  The post covers a broad range of HR responsibilities including:

  • recruitments
  • employee appointments
  • contract variations
  • maternity/paternity
  • terminations
  • HR systems data set-up
  • general HR enquiries

You will have excellent communication, organisational and IT skills, together with the ability to use your own initiative and work to a high standard of accuracy whilst under pressure to meet tight deadlines.  You will have previous experience of working in a large and complex office environment and the ability to work as an effective team member.  It would be beneficial if you had previous HR administration experience.

This post is a full-time (37 hours per week) position.
