Applications are invited for this Senior Mental Health Practitioner role. You will lead the Open Door multidisciplinary team work with students who are experiencing psychological and mental health difficulties. This will involve both management and clinical work within the role. We are looking for a suitably qualified and experienced mental health professional who has recent experience of working with common mental health difficulties using evidence based brief psychological intervention and who holds an appropriate qualification and registration/accreditation with an appropriate professional body e.g HCPC, NMC, BACP or BABCP.
You will need knowledge of the range of mental health difficulties which present within the university population, highly developed practitioner skills and experience of management. You will need emotional resilience and the capacity to manage personal responses to stressful situations.
