We are looking for two talented professional Chefs to join one of our kitchen brigades. Ideally we are seeking Chefs with a passion for fine dining food production who also have the ability to produce both quality and beautifully presented buffets.
You will preferably have experience in high volume food production and be able to demonstrate the ability to cook quality fresh food for students and staff on our campus. You will also possess NVQ 1 and 2 or equivalent and a basic food safety qualification such as Foundation Food Hygiene certificate.
Hours of work will average 37 per week on a “5 days out of 7” basis but there is a need for flexibility to support business demand. There will be no split shifts but there will be a proportion of evening and weekend work.
The annual holiday entitlement is 38 days, including 8 statutory public holidays and Christmas, New Year and Easter closure.
The starting salary is in the range of £15,400 to £18,639 per annum.
