The University of York is seeking to appoint a fixed-term (36 months) Postdoctoral Research Associate, focused in the area of the governance and regulation of global agro-value chains and the implications for the resilience of the UK food system.
Responsibilities include conducting research under the supervision of Professor Tony Heron (Politics) and alongside the rest of the IKnowFood project team in developing tools to promote global food system resilience, with a specific focus on the UK. You will conduct quantitative and qualitative research, organise and manage workshop meetings, seminars and conferences, contribute to manuscript preparation and other research dissemination activities.
The post is a full-time position of 37 hours per week and is available from 3 October 2016.
