Role Description

Applications are invited for the above full-time permanent lectureship, which is available from 1 January 2013. The lectureship will be based in the Post-War Reconstruction and Development Unit (PRDU). We are seeking an outstanding scholar with a commitment to research, teaching and student mentoring in the area of Conflict / International Relations / Humanitarian Studies / Post-conflict Recovery Studies.   You will be expected to play an important role within the PRDU in developing research into the evolving nature of humanitarianism and post-war reconstruction in West Asia and North Africa.  The lectureship is generously supported by the Al-Tajir World of Islam Trust.
