The Study Abroad Office is a small but busy one, involved in many different activities and aspects of the University’s engagement with the world beyond the UK. At times these activities will make conflicting demands on administrative staff time.
You will need to be able to adapt and be flexible enough to ensure that changing priorities are met whilst maintaining core administrative operations such as responding to large volumes of email enquiries.
You will have excellent administrative skills and at least two years experience in an administrative post. You will be a good organiser who is able to work with a high degree of independence. You will also be flexible and willing to take on new tasks and responsibilities if required.
The post is available on a fixed-term basis until January 2013 to provide maternity cover. The post is part-time (at 65% of full-time). There is some flexibility in the arrangement of hours but preferably at least four days are to be worked each week.
