We are looking for a committed, enthusiastic and determined person to join our Swimming Team and provide a great experience for pupils on our swim scheme.
As a Swimming Teacher you will be highly motivated, with a commitment to delivering a first-class service.
The role will involve the planning, teaching, assessment and evaluation of swimming lessons for pupils aged 6 months upwards. You must hold a current Level 2 Swimming Instructor qualification.
You will possess excellent communication skills and an ability to work on your own initiative and within a team. Hours of work may require you to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
York Sport Swimming Lessons operate for 50 weeks a year.
The salary is £17.50 per hour with effect from 1 June 2026.
The following shifts are available: Monday to Friday 15:45-19:15, and Saturdays 08:00-12:30. The preferred days and hours of work will be discussed at interview.
