Swimming Instructor
Role Description
We are looking for a committed, enthusiastic and determined person to join our Swimming Team and provide a great experience for pupils on our swim scheme.
As a Swimming Instructor you will be highly motivated, with a commitment to delivering a first-class service.
The role will involve the planning, teaching, assessment and evaluation of swimming lessons for pupils aged 6 months upwards. You must hold a current Level 2 Swimming Instructor qualification.
You will possess excellent communication skills and an ability to work on your own initiative and within a team. Hours of work may require you to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
York Sport Swimming Lessons operate for 50 weeks a year.
The salary is £15.00 per hour.
We need cover for the following shifts; Available shifts are Monday 15:45-19:15, Tuesday 15:55-19:25 and Thursday 15:45-19:15. Applicants can do one, two or more shifts depending on availability. There are up to 6.75 hours available, however these may be split between more than one successful candidate. Preferred hours of work and shift patterns will be discussed at interview.
