Student Life and Wellbeing (SLaW) works to enhance all aspects of student life and experience at the University and is part of the Library, Learning, Archives and Wellbeing Directorate. The team delivers a wide range of proactive and responsive services for students to navigate the challenges and maximise the opportunities that the University provides them with.
The Student Information Team is part of Student Support and Communities, providing a welcoming, professional and effective front of house service in the Student Hub. The Student Hub is the central point of contact for students, staff and external agencies for access to an extensive range of professional and specialist advice and support services for students. The team works collaboratively with colleagues across Library, Learning, Archives and Wellbeing and the wider University, ensuring access to services aimed at working with students to develop strategies to overcome challenges and enable them to succeed academically and in their wider lives. You will play a key role in ensuring exceptional customer focussed standards are always delivered. You will manage queries relating to student incidents and emergencies sensitively, promptly, accurately and effectively, eliciting information and treating all queries confidentially and in accordance with University procedures.
