Situated within the Global Recruitment, Marketing and Admissions Directorate, these exciting new roles are based within the UK Student Recruitment team in Marketing, Recruitment, Admissions and Outreach (MRAO).
These exciting roles are primarily to attend undergraduate student recruitment events in schools, colleges and conference venues across the UK. These recruitment events include schools careers fairs, recruitment exhibitions and giving presentations about aspects of higher education as well as the University of York’ courses and facilities.
In addition, the role-holders will undertake some administrative duties to support the development and delivery of key undergraduate recruitment events and activities at the University of York, such as the organisation and delivery of the University’s undergraduate open and visit days.
These fixed-term positions suit someone who is looking for a varied role, who would enjoy attending and presenting at recruitment events as well as supporting the administration and planning of large-scale events.
You will have a good general education, as well as experience of customer service. You will be organised, self-motivated, reliable, and able to work effectively and communicate professionally with colleagues and key stakeholders.

○ This may include tasks such as responding to email enquiries, booking rooms and transport providers, and external facilities such as first aid providers.
○ Ensuring administrative processes are completed accurately and in a timely manner
○ Supporting and attending the University’s large-scale recruitment and conversion events and projects
The postholder must undertake an enhanced DBS check and be suitable to work with children and young people
