This role sits within the Group Financial Accounting team who are responsible for financial reporting, statutory returns, financial policy and taxation at the University of York.
The role of Senior Financial Accountant is pivotal within the Group Financial Accounting Team. The post holder will lead on the coordination of group forecasting and variance analysis providing accurate financial information for committee papers. This role will lead preparation of the annual Transparent Approach to Costing (TRAC) return working as a business partner to the TRAC Oversight Committee. Furthermore, as the University works to diversify sources of income the post will support by providing technical financial input to support new ventures.
