The Department of Health Sciences, University of York, UK seeks to appoint a Research Fellow to support our global health research programmes in mental and physical multimorbidity. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team contributing to a portfolio of global health research programmes and projects focusing on mental health and non-communicable diseases in low and middle-income countries.
The post will be based at the University of York and will include a requirement to travel overseas to support projects, for example, in Bangladesh and Pakistan.
Main duties will include conducting and writing up mixed methods applied health research under the supervision of senior colleagues; and contributing to the development of research proposals, including personal awards, with a focus on mental and physical health and physical activity research.
This role is fixed term for 2 years.
You will have a PhD relevant to mental and physical health and knowledge and experience of a range of research methods, including evidence synthesis, qualitative methods and trials. Willingness to travel overseas is essential for the role.
