The postholder will join an existing team of administrators responsible for the effective and efficient development and delivery of our medical programme. This is an important student-facing support role in the School and you should have the skills needed to be able to deliver a high-level professional service to students. You will be responsible for providing accurate information to students, scheduling teaching sessions, supporting cross-site student activities including exams, updating learning materials, maintaining records and preparing documents. You will need to build close working relationships with a range of administrative, academic and clinical colleagues across our university and NHS office locations.
The post is based at the University of York campus, with occasional travel to Hull and NHS sites as required.
You should have experience of working as an administrator in a busy office within a large complex organisation and ideally will have worked in a student-facing or customer service focussed role. You will be highly organised, with a positive attitude and a flexible approach to work.
