We are looking for an experienced Print Estimator to contribute to the general success of YCL’s Design and Print Solutions business.
You will the first point of contact for all print related enquiries and will be required to calculate, prepare and provide accurate and timely design and print estimates and quotations based on information supplied by designers, print suppliers or the Print Production Shop Manager. Drawing on your print knowledge, you will liaise with customers to fully understand their print requirements, providing help and advice and suggesting alternative specifications where appropriate. General administrative duties are an integral part of the role.
You will have previous print industry estimating experience and experience of using Tharstern MIS. A good working knowledge of commercial lithographic and digital print processes and best practice application is essential. With excellent numeracy skills and attention to detail you will have the ability to ‘get it right first time’ in a fast paced, deadline orientated environment. As you have regular contact with customers, excellent communication and customer care skills are also essential.
This is a full-time position for 37 hours per week. You may occasionally be required to work flexibly in order to meet the demands of the business.
The salary is £25,003.61 per annum.
