Applications are invited for a 10 months postdoctoral position in Number Theory to work on a project entitled “The Inhomogeneous Duffin-Schaeffer Conjecture” funded by an EPSRC grant held by Professor Victor Beresnevich. The post can be taken up from the 1st of May 2023 or as soon as possible thereafter. The applicants are expected to have a background in an area of Pure Mathematics, and those with a background in number theory or related fields are especially encouraged to apply. You should have completed a PhD in Mathematics or an equivalent experience by the start date of your appointment.
