The Marketing, Recruitment, Admissions and Outreach (MRAO) team is part of the External Relations Directorate, which includes specialists in Admissions, Widening Participation, Schools and Colleges Liaison, and Marketing. The Student Recruitment and Marketing teams focus on attracting and retaining diverse, high-quality students to shape the University’s future student body.
We're looking for a dynamic International Marketing Manager to lead the development and delivery of international student recruitment campaigns. You’ll create and manage multi-channel marketing strategies to attract undergraduate and postgraduate students, working closely with colleagues across the Marketing Team, the International Recruitment and Partnerships Team (IRPT), as well as the wider content team.
You’ll shape engaging, audience-specific content, manage a team of Content Developers, and ensure consistent branding and tone of voice. With a deep understanding of international student journeys and stakeholder needs, you'll drive content strategy, evaluate campaign success, and recommend improvements.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience in digital marketing, international student recruitment, and team management. Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills are essential.
This is a fixed term post covering parental leave for 12 months.
Qualification - Degree or equivalent experience, marketing qualification (ie CIM/DIM)
Lead International Content Strategy – Plan, create, and deliver engaging content across digital and print platforms to support international student recruitment.
Collaborate and Align Campaigns – Work with internal teams to develop targeted, flexible marketing strategies and manage editorial calendars responsive to changing needs.
Team Leadership – Manage and support Content Developers, ensuring high-quality, brand-consistent output and fostering a positive team culture.
Optimise Content and Channels – Streamline content processes, adapt messaging for diverse global audiences, and guide digital content best practices.
Insight-Driven Improvement – Use market research, analytics, and digital trends to evaluate performance and continuously enhance marketing effectiveness.
