The University of York is seeking to recruit a skilled and motivated part qualified Management Accountant looking for a challenging and rewarding role in a prestigious, complex organisation. Working in the Management Accounting Service team this is a full-time role on an open contract, based in the Finance Department.
The Management Accountant role provides essential specialist financial support for delivering an effective financial and management accounting service. You will perform monthly management accounting and detailed work on financial systems to produce high-quality financial information for the University of York. You will also contribute to producing accurate financial planning and communicating performance against forecasts. By fostering positive relationships between the finance team and university departments, you will support informed decision-making and effective financial management.
