The International Recruitment, Partnerships and Mobility (IRPM) department makes up part of the External Relations Directorate, and focuses on international student recruitment, short courses, exchange and study abroad, and global partnerships and research support.
The International Recruitment team within IPRM are tasked with developing a strategy to achieve substantial growth in overseas recruitment to grow our international student population at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including via an expanded portfolio of teaching partnerships.
The successful candidate will provide project coordination, planning and support as well as administrative assistance to the International Recruitment Team. You will work alongside a team of administrative staff to deliver a high level of service for the International Student Recruitment team and its key stakeholders.
The role will report to the International Administration Manager. Alongside managing specific projects from start to finish the post-holder will support the cross-team agent management processes and scholarships coordination and deployment to international students. You will be expected to have strong IT skills and work collaboratively with a wide variety of colleagues across External Relations.
Role Specific Responsibilities
Coordinate and administer designated aspects of a project throughout the project life cycle from initiation to successful conclusion, using project management software/applications.
Delivery of agent management process coordination (contract management; event management; due diligence processes; commission support; support with training; dissemination of management data and reporting).
Delivery of scholarship administration processes, including application and selection coordination, support for budget management and reporting to stakeholders.
Liaise closely with staff engaged to work on projects and especially in relation to ensuring key project milestones and deadlines are met.
Assist with the development of related management information reports.
Organise relevant meetings, circulate agendas, attend, and take and disseminate minutes.
Disseminate project communications and updates to relevant stakeholders.
Work with key IRPM stakeholders to ensure that data collection processes support the requirement for a high standard of data quality in line with GDPR requirements, which in turn will aid subsequent conversion activities, statistical analysis, etc.
Maintain awareness of new technologies and software that may be utilised to improve processes and user experience.
Advise and support staff across the International Recruitment team, and other relevant areas on the use of relevant systems.
Provide administrative support to the International Recruitment Management team.
Provide support for other student recruitment and conversion projects as directed by senior staff.
