The University of York is looking for an HR Reward Specialist to play a key role in helping shape our reward and recognition strategies. About the Role:
As a HR Reward Specialist, you will be instrumental in key reward activities, taking a leading role in:
- Overseeing job evaluations and assessing casual pay requests.
- Leading impactful salary benchmarking exercises to maintain our competitive position.
- Driving the delivery of our annual reward processes.
- Play a leading role in the annual academic and professorial promotion scheme.
- Support the implementation of annual pay awards and Real Living Wage increases through data modelling and reporting.
- Conducting annual calculations and analysis of the University’s Pay Gaps.
- Managing day-to-day employee benefits activity, including escalated enquiries and system development.
- Providing reward advice, guidance, and analytics to managers and HR colleagues.
What you will bring:
We are looking for a HR specialist with a strong understanding of reward principles and practices, capable of applying their expertise to complex institutional projects. You will be adept at data analysis and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to advise and influence stakeholders at all levels.
