HR Officer (Part time 32 hours per week)

What You'll Be Doing:

As a HR Officer (reporting to our HR Operations Manager) you'll be part of our vibrant HR Operations team, making a tangible difference every day. This varied role goes beyond just processing; you'll provide expert HR advice and practical support on a full spectrum of crucial HR issues, including absence management, disciplinary and grievance procedures, probation, performance management, and HR policy guidance.

You'll triage queries and casework, assessing complexity and team capacity will be crucial.  You will be tasked with assessing the nature and area of these requests, either signposting them to other specialised areas of HR or allocating them within the team based on capacity and expertise. You will work closely with our existing HR Officer and HR Advisers, and serve as a critical link between the HR Operations and HR Services teams. This role offers a valuable opportunity to apply and develop your HR expertise within a supportive and dynamic operational environment.

What You'll Bring:

• A Level 3 qualification, qualifications at this level include A levels. Please view the full list.) We also welcome applicants with equivalent non-UK qualifications or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience of advising and guiding colleagues on HR related policy/procedure/processes Essential Knowledge of key HR policy/procedures such as Managing Ill Health and Absence, Disciplinary, Grievance, Capability
• Willingness to engage in continuous professional development such as employment law updates, case law developments etc.
• Working towards a CIPD qualification (desirable)
