The University finance department is seeking an enthusiastic high calibre individual to be trained and developed in financial reporting, analysis and modelling.
You will work across Academic Accounting as part of the Reporting Modelling and Analysis team (ARMA). Under the guidance of a lead finance business partner, the role will work to produce and interpret financial data across all three academic faculties, a total turnover of £400m.
In the role you will be providing key support on the Finance Forecasting System, maintaining and developing financial performance reports and dashboards to deliver high quality management information, and carrying out financial modelling to ensure accurate financial forecasts. The role will require a solution oriented individual with strong analytical skills, motivated to learn and develop their skills and knowledge.
As part of your development you will have a structured training programme that will include full guidance and training on University systems. The post holder will also be eligible to apply for funded study towards an accredited finance qualification, in accordance with the finance departments study and training policy.

The University finance department is currently working to a mixed home and campus based working model, with a minimum of two days spent on campus. Appropriate IT equipment will be provided to facilitate this working arrangement.
