The Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI) is a highly respected international research organisation conducting policy-relevant environmental and sustainable development research around the world. We are recruiting a Finance & Income Administrator who will be part of the SEI York Administration team.
SEI York has a broad research profile covering five main research areas: air quality and climate change; critical environmental governance; sustainable consumption and production; urban environments, human health, and wellbeing; and citizen science. As a Finance and Income Administrator, you will be the first point of contact for financial income queries and requests. You will play a key role in the Centre’s financial month end processes by preparing project timesheet data for invoicing to project funders, and supporting invoice and journal preparation. This is a part-time post working 18.50 hours a week on a fixed-term contract for 12 months.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, diligent and adaptable individual, who has a thorough knowledge of administrative and / or financial processes and procedures. and who has prior experience of working in a busy office environment. This role will appeal to someone who enjoys a variety of tasks, who is proactive and who can work and communicate well with others. You will need to work to a very high degree of accuracy and to manage your own priorities.
