The University is seeking to recruit a qualified Accountant to join our energetic and dynamic team.
The role will be at the heart of Finance Business Partnering within the University working directly with Academic Departments, supported by a well-established Finance team structure. As one of the UK's leading higher education institutions, these roles offer a first-rate working environment and excellent career opportunity, whilst benefiting from a campus based community environment.
In this role, you will provide high quality strategic and operational decision-making support across a number of academic departments through the delivery of robust, high quality financial analytical insight. As a positive 'can-do' individual you will work flexibly to offer a consistently high quality level of customer service, whilst successfully delivering on reporting deadlines.
You will demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills in order to build a network of key contacts across the University, and be a team player with a drive to get things right the first time.
You will be required to manage other staff within the Academic Accounting team as well as influence key stakeholders across the University.

38 days annual leave per year pro rata
Opportunity for flexible/hybrid working
Generous pension & life assurance

The University is currently working to a mixed home and campus based working model, with a minimum of two days spent on campus. Appropriate IT equipment will be provided to facilitate this working arrangement.
