The Finance Department is seeking to recruit a Finance Assistant to provide operational support to departments within the Management Accounting team. This is a full-time role on an open contract and is ideal for anyone seeking finance experience in a large organisation. We are currently operating a hybrid working arrangement with two days in the office and the remainder of the time can be worked at home or in the office.
The post holder will work within the Management Accounting team, reporting to the Senior Finance Business Partner. The role will benefit from interaction with the wider Finance Department (Accounts Payable, Payroll, Fees Office etc) but will also work collaboratively with academic staff and other support colleagues in the Management Accounting Team and departments.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, forward thinking and adaptable individual who can work well with a wide range of stakeholders. You will take part in providing effective and efficient management and coordination of the day-to-day financial operations, accounting services and systems for departments within Management Accounting. This role will appeal to someone who enjoys a variety of tasks and is proactive. You will need to work to a very high degree of accuracy and manage your own priorities.
