An exciting opportunity has arisen for a committed and experienced administrator/EA to work at the highest level of the University, supporting the Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Partnerships and Engagement (PVC), in the Vice-Chancellor’s Department.
The Vice-Chancellor's Department (VCD) is located in historic Heslington Hall. This office based role is varied and requires flexibility, commitment, discretion and attention to detail. Strong customer service values are essential. You will have experience of providing PA support at executive level, and will be responsible for the management of the PVC's diary and inbox, producing high quality communications, arranging travel and accommodation and working in collaboration with the Project Officer to support the function of the PVC. You will also provide reciprocal cover for short term absences of other PAs/Administrators within the Department.
You will have thorough knowledge of administrative procedures and processes used in a busy office within a large, complex organisation, especially inbox and diary management. You will have the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people, and will be committed to providing an excellent standard of customer service.
