The University of York is home to several UKRI-funded Doctoral Training Programmes (DTPs). We are seeking a highly motivated DTP Manager to be based in the Chemistry and Environment & Geography Student Services team. The Manager will work closely with the DTP Management Team of the EPSRC Mobility Pilot DTP which is based at York, colleagues in the postgraduate research (PGR) administration team, as part of the Student Services team, industrial partners and other external stakeholders. The role holder will work closely with other members of the departmental PGR administration team to support a number of doctoral training programmes led by partner institutions. The role will also include extensive liaison with relevant University professional support teams to support the ongoing running of the programme, and management of the grants.

This role requires an experienced and dynamic individual who has experience of building effective relationships with a very diverse range of stakeholders. Someone who has the ability to respond proactively to unique challenges with highly developed interpersonal skills. Ideally someone with an affinity for supporting and being an advocate for Postgraduate Researchers to facilitate their participation on this programme whilst they remain employed in industry.
