The University of York is going through a period of exciting change. Under the direction of our Vice-Chancellor, Professor Charlie Jeffery we have launched our new University Vision (A University for Public Good). To support this new vision, we are undertaking a series of institutional change programmes to deliver the strategic change required to achieve our aspirations for the institution. Working with senior colleagues and key stakeholders across the institution, the new Director will ensure the delivery of the change programmes that will underpin the success of our vision.
The Role
As Director of Strategic Change, your role will be to work in partnership with the University’s Executive Board, academic heads and colleagues across a range of professional services to ensure the delivery of the strategic change programme. As an architect of change for the organisation, you will manage the evolution of the Programme Management Office (PMO) to develop a sustainable, robust governance framework to support the delivery of our strategic programmes and other large-scale projects. You will act as an agent for change, engaging and fostering close collaborations with key stakeholders across the institution.
