We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Assistant to work in one of our Nisa stores based at the University of York. You will work as part of a team to offer a friendly, knowledgeable and efficient retail service.
Your duties will include assisting on the shop floor helping customers find products they are looking for and answering any queries which they may have. You will also serve on the checkout ensuring customers shopping is processed, packed and paid for without unnecessary delays. Ensure licensing laws, age related product legislation and health and safety procedures are adhered to at all times.
You will have first class communication skills, experience of working within the retail sector and have the ability to work as part of a team.
There are two schedules available:
Schedule 1: Monday 17:00 - 21:00 / Thursday 14:00 - 18:00 / Friday 14:00 - 18:00
Schedule 2: Tuesday 10:00 - 14:00 / Wednesday 13:00 - 17:00 / Thursday 7:00 - 11:00
The salary offered is £12.90 per hour.
