Research, Innovation and Knowledge Exchange is the Professional Services Directorate responsible for developing and supporting all the University of York’s strategies for research and knowledge exchange, and for providing comprehensive support to York’s academic Departments in their research and impact activities.
The role of CPD Coordinator sits within the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Unit, whose remit it is to grow the number and quality of training programmes to businesses and organisations in line with the University strategy.
The CPD Coordinator will support the quality and growth of CPD primarily by providing: a high level of customer service to external businesses and CPD learners; efficient and effective administration of CPD courses; accurate and efficient accreditation, funding and financial administration; and administering and carrying out marketing and business development activities.
A high level of organisation, efficiency and agility, a professional and pragmatic approach and an understanding of good customer service are needed to be successful in this role.
