Due to server maintenance this website will not be available on Friday 1st November (From 17:00 GMT) until Monday 4th November.
As a Content Developer in our research communications team you will write, design, edit and distribute content, ensuring it is informative, accurate and tailored to different audiences. You will use your writing, editing, web design and digital communication skills to ensure clarity and consistency in everything you produce.
Working closely with other teams within Communications, you will support our academic departments and research entities to shape and develop content highlighting advances in our research, successful grants and academic appointments. You will also work with departments and research entities to refresh and redesign existing web pages to ensure the University’s research strengths are communicated clearly and accurately. This is a fixed term role (until end of July 2025, with potential for extension subject to further review and approval in 2025)
You will be a compelling and creative digital communicator with exceptional attention to detail. You'll have an interest in, and experience of, turning often very complex information about our research into clear, accurate and engaging content. You'll have a demonstrable understanding of digital accessibility practices for content creation and experience of using website content management systems and of project managing web content development projects. You'll have proven experience of delivering and evaluating multi-channel content that has clear objectives.
