Hull York Medical School (HYMS) is a collaboration between the Universities of Hull and York and the NHS. HYMS operates from both University campuses and within teaching hospitals and medical practices throughout the Yorkshire and Humber region. The new Centre for Skin Research will be aligned with the theme of Immunology, Haematology and Infecton (IHI), that encompasses fundamental studies on immunology, haematology, microbiology and parasitology through to first-in-human and other early phase clinical research.
The Business Development (BD) Manager will be a key member of the Centre team, leading industry engagement and Business Development for the Centre as a whole, working closely with the Director and research leads to identify, initiate and drive forward a range of commercial opportunities across multiple sectors relevant to the Centre’s work. Key areas of responsibility will include, commercialisation, contract management, building and maintaining new collaborations, identifying and engaging partners, monitoring and reporting and contributing to the day-to-day functioning of the Centre.
