The University of York has set out its vision to become a University for Public Good in its 2023 strategy. IT Services actively supports that commitment. The IT Services department is critical to delivering those objectives, providing infrastructure and services that support all aspects of the customer experience. The Audio Visual team designs, delivers, and manages technology in over 400 teaching, meeting, and performance spaces across campus. They also support a wide range of in-person and hybrid events in these and other venues in the city of York.
As part of a devoted and supportive team, you will play a crucial role in supporting teaching, learning, and research across the University by providing and maintaining high-quality AV equipment and technical expertise.

Working patterns are managed through a flexitime system, overtime is available during times of high demand, and we encourage a healthy work-life balance.
This role offers opportunities to learn new technologies or implement your existing skills in a different environment. We are committed to supporting our staff's development and encourage applications from people who can bring new experiences and ideas, with the right attitude and aptitude.
We offer a supportive and inclusive working environment for our staff. Everyone at York has access to a range of excellent benefits including:
