Role Description

Are you a highly organised and proactive Administrator with a passion for providing excellent business support? York Health Economics Consortium (YHEC) is seeking a motivated Administrator to join our Central Business Services team.  This is a fantastic opportunity to play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our office.

About the Role:

As a key member of our six-person Central Business Services team, you will provide comprehensive administrative and business support across the company.  Reporting to the Office Manager, you will be responsible for a diverse range of tasks, contributing to the overall success of YHEC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality support, answering queries and resolving problems, utilising your knowledge of systems, policies, and processes.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of our IT packages and systems.
  • Maintain and improve the office environment.
  • Ensure adherence to processes and procedures.
  • Support conferences, lead generation, and marketing activities.

What We're Looking For:

  • A good general education, with Level 2 qualifications including Maths and English (or equivalent qualifications/experience).
  • Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office and/or Google applications.
  • The ability to work proactively, use initiative, prioritise workloads, and meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
  • A strong understanding of confidentiality and data management practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A positive and collaborative approach to teamwork.
