Access and Participation Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator

Student Success is part of the Student Education and Experience Directorate, and brings together teams with a focus on inclusive education, disability inclusion, student partnerships and widening participation. Student Success includes the following teams:

• Disability Services
• Inclusive Education 
• Apprenticeships 
• Digital Accessibility
• Access and Participation Monitoring and Evaluation

Role

You will work closely with members of the Access and Participation Monitoring and Evaluation Team (APME) and colleagues delivering Access and Participation Plan (APP) interventions, to support the planning and implementation of evaluation plans in line with our published APP evaluation commitments. The role holder will also support specific evaluation activities including focus groups, interviews, surveys, data collection and transcription.

To note, this role is providing essential coordination support to the APME Team during a period of planned leave within the team, to ensure core activities are monitored and progressed within agreed timelines, and to give support to the specialist evaluation roles within the team.

Skills, Experience & Qualification needed

• Facilitation skills and the ability to carry out focus groups and interview with students and staff
• Able to provide project coordination support, working with a range of stakeholders on the implementation and evaluation of project activities
• Able to gather, analyse, interpret and report data/information to support the delivery and evaluation of access and participation projects
• Able to work as part of a team, and independently using own initiative
