Library, Archives and Learning Services (LALS) skills teams support undergraduate, taught Masters and research students in their development as successful students and independent, confident members of the academic community and society. Services offered include: online skills resources and information; an interactive workshop programme; skills centres offering appointment-based services; and tailored, department-based teaching support.
As Academic Skills Tutor - Maths in the Maths Skills Centre, you will provide maths guidance to students via online Maths resources; 1:1 online and face-to-face maths appointments; the delivery of maths workshops, and by responding to student enquiries. Appropriate knowledge of Maths learning and teaching is a requirement, as are excellent interpersonal skills for effective interaction with students and staff.
