Role Description


The Learning Enhancement (LE) Team supports undergraduate, taught Masters and research students in their development as successful students and as confident, highly skilled members of society.  LE team services include online learning resources; a programme of interactive workshops; skills centres offering 'drop-in' and appointment-based services; a Study Coaching service; and tailored, department-specific and/or assignment specific teaching and learning support.


This post offers an opportunity for you  to contribute to the development of these strategically important University services as part of a creative, dynamic enhancement team.

Skills, Experience & Qualification needed

  • You will have a qualification relating to EFL / EAP teaching practice; experience of teaching or supporting international students engaged in undergraduate and postgraduate study
  • particular experience in addressing English language needs
  •  excellent communication and interpersonal skills and knowledge of the national HE teaching and learning agenda and of current research relating to supporting international students in the UK higher education environment.
