Department
The Department of Chemistry is seeking a Technical Specialist in EPR Spectroscopy, to provide support for a range of high impact biomolecular and chemical research that uses Bruker EMX, Jeol JES-RE1X and X-320 CW EPR spectrometers. Users of these systems include research groups interested in biomolecular structure and interactions, and synthetic organic and inorganic chemistry. This role will involve the analysis of a wide variety of samples, as well as maintenance and support for these instruments.

Role
The Technical Specialist will manage a range of EPR equipment, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, reliable and timely analytical data to support research, teaching and external collaborations. The role is responsible for the effective day-to-day operation of the equipment, maintaining high standards of quality assurance and laboratory safety. Core responsibilities include:
