The Chemistry Analytical Facility within the Department of Chemistry is seeking a Technical Specialist on a fixed-term basis for up to 6 months, following the award of internally distributed HEIF (Higher Education Innovation) funding. This role may also be offered as a secondment opportunity.
The postholder will provide specialist technical support across the Chemistry Analytical Facility, coordinating the delivery of small projects and fee-for-service work and supporting customer engagement through tailored meetings, facility tours and presentations. You will also contribute to the promotion of the facility at conferences, exhibitions and other events.
This post is available at 40% FTE on a fixed term contract/secondment for six months initially. Please note that flexible working patterns and job sharing opportunities will be considered.
